The Plectrum is 74 meters (242 ft) foil super yacht.The hull shape takes its design inspiration from the latest America’s cup sail boats but Instead of being pushed from the wind, the Plectrum moves and lift above water surface pushed from three hydrogen powered motors capable of, 5000hp each (15,000 hp in total).

Plectrum is able to move and lift above the water surface thanks to three hydrogen powered motors. Each motor is capable of providing 5,000 horsepower, with a total horsepower of 15,000.

Conceived to be entirely composed of dry carbon fiber composite, the super light yacht can reach an estimated top speed of 75 knots.

The interior layout of Plectrum has been subdivided into four decks. Her main deck is equipped with six guest staterooms, as well as a owners suite.

Plectrum also features a bow lifting garage and helicopter hanger, with garage space for two tenders. Her rear garage is also able to carry water toys and a car.

The hydrofoil technology has been envisioned with an adjustable beam of up to 20 metres that can be reduced to 15 metres when the yacht is berthed or at anchor. The draught would be 6.5 metres.

The yacht’s living spaces are split across four decks, with the main body offering six guest cabins and an owner’s suite.Although Plectrum is still a concept at this stage, Lazzarini Design says the yacht can be built on request for roughly $87 million (€80 million).
