Do you ever imagined that you could actually build a woodland cabin using plastic wrap. Being prepared to survive in the outdoors starts with knowing what to be prepared for.
In this video BUSHCRAFT TOOLS shows us how to build a survival tent out of plastic wrap,he builds the main frame of the house, including a makeshift bed and whatever else he needs inside. The main pillars are thick trunks of trees.
Then he secures the joints using thick cords. In this episode I continue building the woodland cabin by adding a roof, walls and then installing a wood stove before cooking up some food in a cast iron skillet.

The tools used so far for this project are: A knife, saw, axe and some plastic wrap. As you will see in the episode, I was extremely surprised with the amount of heat the thin walls were able to keep in.
As mentioned in the video, this isn’t the type of shelter I would usually build in a woodland, but I just had to give it a go! The plastic wrap will eventually be recycled. What do you think about this type of shelter?
