AEMotion a French company founded in 2014, has unveiled a futuristic microcar that could change city driving forever. The specail feature of the microcar is its tilting technology, which allows the entire frame to lean into curves at angles of up to 35 degrees.

This gives it the dynamic handling of a motorcycle while offering the comfort and balance of a real car. Measuring 235 cm long, 79 cm wide, and 171 cm tall, this 230kg vehicle is most certainly compact enough to weave through Parisian traffic.

Powering this lean machine is an electric drivetrain derived from motorcycle tech, delivering instant torque for quick acceleration. The microcar houses a fixed battery offering up to 200 km of range on a single charge. It also supports swappable battery packs, each capable of delivering an additional 70 km.

The microcar has two door that you can swivel upward, which makes the entry and exit spacious, in the inside of the vehicle, there’s enough seating for two people. The first seat also folds down so the rear passengers can get in at the back of the vehicle.

The rear seat is also modular too. If there’s no other passenger, the rider can ‘stow’ the back seat to allow for storage space at the rear, enough for grocery bags and a small luggage. The microcar is fully enclosed with an outer shell and door windows to shield passengers from rain and wind.
