The Electrom is a completely zero-emission lightweight electric vehicle that is considered an e-bike in most parts of the world. It uses a fraction of the energy of a car to transport one person and is legally a bicycle, giving you a huge advantage when navigating heavy traffic.

At just 60cm/24 inches wide, the Electrom glides easily through slow traffic like a bicycle and can be parked anywhere you can park a bike. Wherever you go, the Electrom will get you to your destination faster, and better for the environment.

The Electrom is a two-wheeler with a unique combination of front and rear hub motors.

The rear direct drive hub motor is powerful, efficient at speed, and supports regenerative braking. On the front of the bike the smaller geared hub motor is employed to help bring the Electrom up to speed, climb steep hills, and provide extra traction.

The Electrom is designed around a recumbent riding position that is extremely comfortable, especially on longer trips. The Electrom can carry 100 liters /22 gallons of cargo in a waterproof lockable trunk. With the easy removal of the cargo hatch it can carry a passenger.

The Electrom requires no insurance or fuel. At the average US electricity cost of about 12 cents per kilowatt-hour, it costs about 18 cents to charge the battery. That works out to .225 cents per kilometer /.36 cents per mile.

The current Electrom Prototype has been on the road for over two years, and in that time it has logged over 4500 kilometers / 2800 miles of travel in a variety of conditions. The design has more than verified it’s reliability, safety and comfort.
