Polestar Polar Semi an arctic semi truck concept designed by Carl Chan. This conceptual Polestar is a 12-wheeler modular truck with a trailer that can fit the different needs of different industries. The autonomy of the operation of this all-terrain semi truck is supplemented with a quite comfortable apartment block for three people.

The living unit is equipped with a kitchen, sleeping places, a sanitary unit, an autonomous generator, and a heater. Thus, it can even be arranged for long transitions to the North Pole and wait for severe snowstorms. It comes with a small-tall container, medium container, and a construction set-up too.

The equipment tower is modular and can carry up to 2 different modular capsules for different job requirements. The wheels of the truck are grouped in 2.2 styles. Rims and tyres are optimized for snow running conditions. The truck has pure electric drivetrain with large batteries, and it has a modular design to suit different conditions.

The interior barrel is modular and splitted into 2 levels with different functions. 1F(Working areas, living space,  storage, entrance), MF(Drive by hand, higher, seating position), 2F(Leisure, Rest and autopilot lounge).

The rear lighting system is designed to better illuminate the surroundings. The truck is also equipped with a the Polebike a pure electric retractable scouter attached to the side port of the truck. There is not much info about the drivetrain power and battery power for this truck, but for surely this concept is really futuristic and beautiful.

The flexible trailer ring makes it easy to load or unload cargo and also change out containers without the effort it would take had it been a traditional trailer.

The sloping windshield is something that really stands apart from the stereotypical trailers we see. The design of the Polestar is sleek and angular but the edges are rounded off – makes it look less like a sharp, evil container on wheels and more like a futuristic tour bus!
