Meet the Kuickwheel Skyrider X6, the world’s first land-air flying motorcycle in reverse trike form, made its debut and promptly flew off the shelves. Designed and build by Chinese mobility trailblazer Kuickwheel, Skyrider X6 Flying Motorcycle isn’t a concept parked in some showroom.

The core innovation of Skyrider X6 lies in its amphibious architecture. In land mode, it serves as a powerful reverse three-wheeled motorcycle driven by a high-efficiency motor, with a maximum speed of 70 km/h and a range of 200 kilometers.

When switching to flight mode, Skyrider X6 relies on a 6-axis 6-rotor power system to deliver abundant lift and stable control. It can soar into the sky at a maximum flight speed of 72 km/h, providing approximately 20 minutes of air travel time—sufficient to handle scenarios such as emergency transportation and short-distance point-to-point flights.

The vehicle is now available for pre-order on JD.com, one of China’s online marketplaces, priced at approx. 69,000 USD. The body of the Skyrider X6 is made from carbon fibre composite and aviation-grade aluminium alloy to minimise weight. For flight, the Skyrider X6 supports automated takeoff, landing, route planning, and cruising. Manual operation via a joystick is also available for experienced users.

Skyrider X6 is equipped with a 10.5KWH large-capacity battery, providing ample energy support. It is also compatible with widely popular automotive DC charging piles, enabling rapid charging to be completed in approximately 1 hour. This significantly enhances usability, keeping it ready for the next trip at all times.
