The Ridgeline EV concept is designed by a California-based Rene Garcia, a concept designer. This concept features a charging port behind the front Honda badge, a retractable winch, a frunk, and even an expandable truck bed that allows for the loading of a quadricycle.

The EV comes with its own winch-hook on the front, a frunk behind it, suicide-style rear doors that give you access to the car’s spacious interiors, and an expandable truck-bed on the back that even comes equipped with tools and emergency medical kits.

The Ridgeline EV concept sits on an electric skateboard chassis with front and rear electric motors with a relatively large battery pack in the middle. The car charges via the front, where the Honda sign pops open to reveal the hidden charging port.

The modular cargo bed makes it possible to fit an ATV when you remove the rear cabin partition. The rear seats can be turned 180 degrees, and there’s a super-large compartment under the floor—larger than the current Ridgeline’s in-bed trunk.

In the inside of the Ridgeline EV there is a mixing wood and leather for most of the interior including the seats, doors and wraparound dashboard, the highly futuristic environment with digital interface not unlike the one in the Sony Vision-S concept. digital rearview display and a yoke-style steering wheel are also added, while practicality is further enhanced by seats that recline fully with a rear section that can open up to make a bed.via: Rene Garcia
