Famed Italian motorcycle development and engineering firm E&E is proud to present XR338 Street Tracker, designed in Italy to capture the soul of flat track in a lightweight package. Created at our R&D centre near Bologna in just 120 days, the XR338 concept is a functional motorcycle engineered for mass production, meeting the latest safety and emission targets.

The XR338 concept was created to demonstrate the full technical capabilities of E&E, and to prove that developing a modern, small displacement motorcycle can be done quickly without compromising design or engineering quality. The XR338 uses the Benelli 302S as a foundation to build an iconic, entry-level priced motorcycle for the North American market.

The XR338 went from an idea to a new motorcycle concept that is 70% ready for mass production in less than 120 days. Thanks to E&E’s decades of experience and resources, the stock Benelli got a modified main frame, new body, bespoke LED lighting, fuel system, instrumentation, custom wheels and suspension adjustments.

“We worked very hard to preserve the fundamental performance characteristics of the Benelli, to reduce cost and maximize reliability.” Says Daniele Alvisi, the chief engineer of the project.

The XR338 has been road and track tested, it’s bespoke LED lighting systems, induction and exhaust system are fully compliant with EU-5 and US DOT and CARB requirements.

The project is fully documented, including engineering specifications and a detailed Bill of Materials. If given the green light, the XR338 could be in mass production in six months. E&E plans to demonstrate the XR338 project live throughout North America, at public shows and among the industry and motorcycle community.
