The Skyrider X1 is somewhat different than other so-called flying motorcycles because it’s actually a motorcycle. Max flight speed is 100 km/h. Takeoff and landing procedures are automated.

The Skyrider X1 has four arms that fold out from the chassis, which serve as the base for eight coaxial propellers. Deploy this system, and you can take to the skies to avoid traffic.

There are two versions of this vehicle, one with a 10.5-kWh battery, which is supposed to be good for 25 minutes of flight time. The 21-kWh version is supposed to last 40 minutes of flight time. The vehicle also boasts automated take-off and landing functionality, which means you simply have to set your destination and the vehicle will do the rest.

To further reduce flight risk, the Rictor is equipped with automatic take-off and landing functions. The pilot only needs to set the destination, and the aircraft will automatically complete the take-off and landing process according to the preset route.

The Skyrider is just a concept right now but it might hit the markets next year, with a reported price tag of US$60,000. In addition to the highly automated flight system, the Rictor motorcycle also supports manual control, and the pilot can use the joystick for precise control to adapt to different flight needs.
